We are a Tier 2 Centre offering Hard Shell Hyox or Sechrist Hyperbaric chambers going to a maximum pressure of 3 ATA whilst you breathe in 100% pure oxygen
Hard chambers, non-hospital based free standing clinics (up to 3.0 ATA) Tier 2 chambers are considered mid range and deliver medical grade oxygen at a rate of 20-30L per minute with 100% concentration. Protocols require greater than 1.5 ATA
There are 70 conditions recognised by the International Hyperbaric Medical Foundation that require higher pressure protocols than Tier 1 conditions. These are considered investigational and classified as “off label”. It is generally understood that HBOT does not directly treat these conditions but may target the physiological processes contributing to them.
Sechrist 3600H Hyperbaric Chamber
This newest hyperbaric oxygen chamber is an exciting addition to the world recognized Sechrist hyperbaric chamber product line. All Sechrist ‘s hyperbaric products are manufactured in the United States within the Sechrist ‘s state of the art production and manufacturing facility. The 3600H includes all the quality and reliable functionality that goes into each and every Sechrist chamber throughout the world. The 3600H hyperbaric chamber can accommodate patients weighing up to 700lbs and allows for complete comfort controls for both patient and attendant. Currently this is the newest chamber available in Australia.

Hyox HTU systems are built for efficiency and comfort. Instead of lying down you recline in a comfortable long lounge chair whilst watching your own personal entertainment system. At a slightly Lower Price it is a great option for those who feel more comfortable in a reclining position.

What is the difference between Tiers 1, 2 and 3?
Tier 1
A soft shell (Mild) Hyperbaric chamber going to a maximum pressure of 1.3 ATA breathing in 92-95% oxygen from an oxygen concentrator which because it mixes with air in a non sealed mask will not give you that concentration of oxygen.
Please also note whilst we believe there is a therapeutic benefit from soft shell chambers there is no scientific literature or clinical studies on soft shell chambers and the staff operating them are not fully certified hyperbaric technicians.
The inflatable soft chambers (Mild Hyperbaric) are unable to deliver required treatment pressure and oxygen percentages for a range of health problems.
Tier 2
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Gold Coast is a Tier 2 Centre. Tier 2 offers a Hard Shell Hyox or Sechrist Hyperbaric chamber going to a maximum pressure of 3 ATA whilst you breathe in 100% oxygen
Tier 3
Tier 3 would be a hard shell chamber you would see in a hospital going to 3ATA and above for diving decompression sickness (the bends).
